Good Afternoon, this is KTLA, your first and only source for breaking news in Los Angeles. Just an hour ago, at the famous Roosevelt Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, the bodies of James Ford, aged 37, and the infant body of Aaron Littleton were found in room 412, victims of an apparent robbery. James Ford and Aaron Littleton were both survivors of the Oceanic Flight 815 crash, and were living for an extended period of time at the Roosevelt along with the other surviors. The Infant's mother, Claire Littleton, as reported here on KTLA, is being housed at Santa Rosa, victim of an apparent breakdown. No word on whether Ms. Littleton has learned of her child's fate, nor any word on whether Ms. Littleton will be questioned in the murder of her infant son.
Our reporters on the scene have spoke with witnesses, that say one of the maids, only named as 'Joan', entered room 412, to find the apartment silent. She entered further and found Ford and the child lying on the bedroom floor, surrounded in blood. However, Police are quick to point out that a murder-suicide is not ruled out, given Ford's past history. James Ford, a reported 'Confidence Man' or con-man, was somehow under the care of the child. Reports are sketchy, at best, as to how the child came under the Con Man's care. Reports had also shown Ford drinking heavily in the Roosevelt bar in the past week, often staying until three or later in the morning before stumbling back up to his room. Autopsies are pending, but as of this reporting, the LAPD are still treating this case as a simple robbery gone bad, until other facts can prove different.
