As you may have noticed, things have changed here at PFT, so you might be asking yourself “What does this mean?” Well, here’s a quick little guide get you started.
First off, everything we have done previously is still canon to this game. The survivors were all saved after Eggtown and taken back to Los Angeles, unaware that the people they saw die on the island were alive and well in America, just with no recollection of even boarding flight 815. Where we deter from that original plot is a slight time jump to the point where the last living survivor, Jack, has now died in LA and has woke up on the island.
This is where the new chapter begins.
Day by day people died back in LA, but time moves differently back on the Island. Although it has been several weeks since the first shocking deaths there, on the Island it has only been a few days. As each new person awakens on the island, they are scattered about, scared and alone. Sawyer, Charlotte, Ana-Lucia and Richard Alpert were the first people Jack Shephard encountered when he stumbled out of the jungle and onto the beach. Nearby was Shannon and Alex watching over the young Aaron. Learning that Jack was the last to die, they decided to set off into the jungle in search of their companions who should have arrived before him.
So here we go! Everyone else is scattered about, so if you wish to start your own “waking up” thread and have your character set out on their own, maybe encounter some of the other lost Losties, then feel free! Or you can wait for the search party to find you and posts your waking up post along with what your character has done since then in the main search party post. Up to you! Also, feel free to write out your death posts as well in the flashback section so we know how your character came to be on the Island once more.
