She was right about him hating one person and if she didn't shut up soon it was going to be apparent that it wasn't Leandra. "We have an understanding" Miles grumbled. "I call her no name and she learns to shut up when she's bothing me. Something that I wish I could transfer to other relationships with people I know" he said pointedly to Charlotte.
Frank started to chuckle again. Miles cut in. "I swear to God man..." he began, until Charlotte's interest in Linus made him stop. "I was looking for Linus and I found him. It really isn't that hard if you know where to look" he lied. "Bad news is that if anyone goes back to the island everyone goes back including Tubby, No Name and those annoying other 815ers."

"Blah, blah, blah." Charlotte muttered. "That's all I hear coming out of that hole on your face." She hissed. "
"Well, if everyone goes back...." That ruins my plan. She added mentally to herself with a frown. That completely ruined it. Sighing, she turned back to the phone.
"Frank, will you please kill Miles for me? I don't have the strength to do it." Charlotte muttered, staring down into the water again.

"If you don't have the strength to do it" Miles put in, "then I can hardly see Frank reaching out from within the reciever and strangling me." He smirked a little at the idea.
"I don't know about that..." Frank threatened, jokingly.
"Anyway, just get over yourself Charlotte. You put on this big act but everyone knows you want to get back to the island just as much as everyone else." He didn't care if she was going to slug him right then, he was just getting sick of dancing around her with this.

"I'd pay to see that happen. Though I'm sure Frank can fly a plane out here to Los Angeles to kill you. Right Frank?" She said, turning to the phone with a broad grin. Though her grin faded when Miles spoke again.
"Yeah, all right Miles. I'll admit - you caught me." She said loudly, folding her arms across her chest. "You want to know the truth - yeah, I do want to go back, but I don't have the heart to tell Dan that. I'm seriously thinking of just faking my death and getting it over with, dying my hair black, go under a false name, adn tag along on your little adventure back to the island just so Dan won't know! It'll probably kill him, but obviously my twisted sick mind doesn't care!"

((Wow. Shockingly awesome post. Was not expecting that.))
Miles shut his mouth when she yelled at him. It was about Dan? This was why he didn't get close to anyone. Even Frank seemed to have shut his mouth after the outburst too. Miles stared at her. He could lecture her. Say that was the reason he was so screwed up and did whatever the hell he liked... but he didn't.
"Dan will want to come too" Miles said quietly, "if you want to." He continued to stare at her.
"I hate to be saying this, but Miles is right" Frank put it, "Faraday will make sure he can come just to keep an eye on you, Char."
Miles shook his head slightly, you could cut the tension with a knife. "Look, Dan knows enough about the island to know that we have to get back there. We've just got to see if it's better to trust Linus this time."
"Woah! Hang on" Frank cut in over the phone. "I never said anything about going back. I happen to like my job here."

((lol ty. It's actually a plot Sammeh and I plan on doing. )) "He's not coming Miles." She stated in a much quieter tone, still seething. "He doesn't need to be there again - but I do. It's where I belong and I can't help but have the need to go back there. Dan doesn't need to look after me anyway - I can look out for myself." Charlotte continued, folding her arms over her chest.
"And we're not trusting Benjamin Linus!" She hissed after another moment. "He tried to kill me Miles! Why the bloody hell should I trust that idiot to get us back to the island when we're perfectly capable of stomping right up to Widmore and volunteering ourselves for another little mission to the island just to get back!?"
"Frank, you don't have to come if you don't want to."

"You see that's the problem" Miles narrowed his eyes slightly, "you do have to come. Everyone does. Or there will be no getting back. Which means that the Genius better get over his phobia of sand pretty damn fast."
Frank came back over the phone. "Now hold up there, everyone?"
"Yes everyone!" Miles shouted, thoroughly annoyed now. "Every one of those annoying 815ers, all of us, Linus... everyone." Miles didn't like it as much as anyone else but if he had to drag Daniel there by his ear kicking and screaming, so be it.

((Did I ever mention how much I love your Miles? Lmao))
"He's not afriad of sand you moron." Charlotte muttered, rolling her eyes. "But what I dont seem to understand is how you don't seem to understand just how dangerous that place is. You want to go back - but there's a freak smoke monster, polar bears, and other bloody things that can kill you by probably just looking at you. What are you going to do about that?" She questioned.
But if everyone had to go back, no matter what Charlotte did, Dan was probably going to get roped into going anyway. She let out a sigh, shoving her hands back in her pockets.

((And you're the bestest Charlotte there is!))
Miles laughed at her. "You're worried about that?" He continued to laugh as Frank tried to interrupt on the phone and Miles put out his hand to stop the man even though, Frank couldn't even see it. "So if you were worried about all that then why did you go the first time? Answer me that Charlotte."
He had no time for the same excuses that didn't amount to anything, if she expected him to believe she was actually afraid of those things there he would seriously not be able to stop his laughing.
"Charlotte has a point Miles."
"No she doesn't" he snapped. "And that's precisely why we're going with Linus this time around."

(aw, ty ^_^))
"No, I'm not worried about that. What about you? Aren't you afriad of them?" She questioned, attempting to ignore Miles' second question. It was none of his business really, though she was pretty sure he already knew. But she wasn't going to find out by answering.
"We're not trusting Linus!" She shouted at him after her spoke, her nostrils flaring as she moved to stand up. A spark of anger was ignited deep within her eyes. If looks could kill, Miles would have been a pile of ashes on the dock right then and there. "He shot me, he hates us, and doesn't want anything to do with us! We're better off going to Widmore!"

Miles laughed again when she said that he had shot her, and they were better off going to Widmore. "Are you serious? Widmore?" He couldn't help but keep up the steady chuckle. "Oh please Lapidus, tell Charlotte here what happened last time we dealt with Widmore because it seems she's forgotten."
After his laughter died down he turned serious again. "And so what if he shot you. You're alive aren't you?" Who wouldn't shoot Charlotte if they got the chance? Miles thought in Ben's defence.
Frank came over the line. "I think we all need to sit back and figure this out first Miles."
"I've done enough 'pondering' on the subject" Miles snapped at the two of them. He was getting back there if it killed him.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure!" She hissed. "And I remember good and well what happened to us last time we dealt with Widmore - We got to the island though didn't we? It'd be easy just to go and volunteer ourselves for another mission for him."
"Only because I had a vest on. If not, I probably would of died! But why should I tell you this? It's not like you care.' Charlotte hissed at him, narrowing her eyes.
"And don't yell at Frank because he's right! You can just up and skip off to the island. It's hard enough to get there, no to mention you have to figure out the perfect bearing to go in and out on."

"No actually Dan has to figure out the perfect bearing." Miles snorted with oncoming laughter again, "and didn't you say Widmore was trying to kill you?" he brought up, "so by all means go to him and volunteer your services." He told her sarcasticaly. "And what is it with people trying to kill you Charlotte? Do you just piss everyone off that much that all they want to do is put a bullet in you?" He smirked.
Frank came over the line again. "Look you two, this isn't the Kahana. You can stop bickering and we can think this through together."
Miles shrugged, "hey, I'm just offering information here. It's your choice what you want to do with it."

"He already knows it." She mumbled to herself more than Miles, her voice so low she wouldn't be surprised if Miles hadn't heard it. "And we thought Widmore was trying to kill us - but don't you think he would have already done that by now? So I think we're safe." She muttered, folding her arms across her chest. She glared at Miles again.
"I swear to God I'm going to shove you off this dock if you make one more sarcastic comment like that." She growled through clenched teeth.

"Well now that you've scared me senseless" Miles said sarcastically, completely ignoring her threat... except to mock it... because she wouldn't go through with it anyway; "I think I'm going to say goodbye and get going. I've got places I need to be."
Frank came through the line again. "You've got places you need to be? Where do you need to be?"
"Does it matter? So you guys can wrap up this little get together and we'll work something out later, alright? When I'm not so tired or annoyed at Charlotte."
