Leandra blushed slightly when Charlotte said she doubted she was that weak, maybe she wasn't, but she sure as hell wasn't as strong as Charlotte that was for sure. "Maybe I should get some tips from you on how to pack a punch" Leah said and grinned. It sure as hell was a change from getting her nails done at the beauty salon.
Leandra laughed when she said she broke the guys nose. "Well done you, he deserved it anyway, and you're welcome for the backup, any time" Leah said with a firm smile. And she meant it too. Everybody needed a friend. Sure Leah had a fair few friends, and made quite a good few friends on the Island also. Maybe some people might not be too keen on the friendship she had with Charlotte, but she didn't really care. If the others didn't want to talk to her just because of her friendship with Charlotte well that was up to them.

Charlotte laughed. "I can teach you anytime, but I'll need some sleep first." She said. "I haven't been sleeping much lately." She added.
"He did deserve it." She agreed, smirking. "But I've learned to control my temper now, so I'm not just going to punch some guy for calling me a bitch - unless it's Miles. Him I'll punch even if he looks at me the wrong way or breaths too close to me." She stated, folding her arms across her chest as she remembered the conversation she had with Miles a few weeks ago. They had talked about who had been the bigger liar. That was after Sawyer punched him in the face.

Leandra laughed at Charlotte's reply, "Well of course I wouldn't want you to teach me if you're exhausted. Maybe we ought to wind this up and meet again some time soon if you're tired" Leah suggested, thinking maybe Charlotte should get some much needed sleep. "I've not been sleeping too much myself either though"
Leandra was lucky she didn't have much of a temper. She was a pretty laid back kind of girl. She was more uptight when she was with her mother, and helping her with the accounts books at the brothel her mother used to run. After the police raid when Leandra was lucky to get away from it, she moved in with her father instead. Since then Leandra became a much softer character. "Well I'm glad you have managed to control yourself, but if he deserved it, then it's all good anyway" Leah giggled.
She listened as she said how much Miles seemed to be annoying her though. Funny because she had always kind of liked Miles. Another reason why she might find she has less and less friends from the Island since returning, Leandra liked Charlotte, Miles and Daniel. "I kinda like Miles, sorry to hear you've been having some trouble. Nothing too bad I hope?" Leah said blushing again slightly.
Granted she didn't like him quite as much as the crush she had on Sawyer, but she was never going to get Sawyer, he was way too into Kate to even think about Leandra in that way, never mind do anything. She sighed gently. She really just wanted someone to love her for her.

"No, it's fine. I'm just going to bed early tonight." She muttered, stifling another yawn. She gave Leandra a small smile.
"No, he's just being his usually, jerkish self. Though Sawyer did punch him in the face a couple weeks ago. I wonder how his nose is doing?" She said, the last sentence more to herself than to Leandra. She smirked bitterly again as she remembered. "but like the other guy, Miles did deserve it. He was running his mouth again, which is nothing really unusual."
Charlotte sighed and leaned back in her chair, drinking her coffee. She knew the stuff wasn't exactly good for you, but it was better than the alcohol she had been doing with Sawyer and Miles the other day. She was going to stick with coffee a while, hoping it didn't keep her up at night.

"Okay, that's fine with me" Leah said with a smile, "I'd just to think I was keeping you back, I know what it's like to be feeling so tired and exhausted. But it's sure good to be speaking to someone about normal things, than speaking about smoke monsters, wild boars and polar bears" Leah laughed.
"Jerky self?" Leah questioned with a raised eyebrow, obviously Charlotte knew a different Miles to herself then. She pretty much liked Miles. At least when ever she was around him he seemed alright. Yeah he didn't like Ben and the feeling was pretty much mutual, but then again, maybe that's why she felt this odd attraction to Miles, because she didn't like Ben either. "I hope his nose is doing alright when I see him next" she added with a smile. "But I guess if he deserved it, and if he was running his mouth off in front of Sawyer, I can understand, because let's face it, Sawyer doesn't have a lot of patience at times" she laughed lightly.
[ooc: wasn't sure if you were looking to wind the thread up before, hence mentioning about you leaving for sleep - just wanted to clarify any mix up ^^]

Charlotte laughed softly. "Yeah, it is nice. And you don't have to worry about looking over your shoulder for murderers either."
"Yeah, he's always a jerk. He likes to see how much he can piss me off until I hit him." She stated, brushing hair from her face. "But he's lucky Sawyer didn't break his nose." She chuckled darkly. "Though I wish he had."
"But I have to agree. That Redneck does have temper problems." She agreed, nodding silently as she finished her coffee and shoved the mug away.

"Isn't that the truth" Leah replied with a shudder. Something else about the Island, there was always somebody somewhere who was willing to kill you at the blink of an eye. What could make people like that? It surprised her. I mean okay she didn't expect every human to get on well with each other, but she expected humans not to hurt another human, never mind kill them.
"Hmm, I've never seen him as much of the jerk type myself, maybe you and he have a kind of brother/sister relationship going?" she asked with a wink and an evil kind of laugh. She had read how brother and sister relationships can either be very loving or extremely volatile.
"Yeah Sawyer can be a bit volatile, you never quite know which way you're going to get him, unless you're Kate of course" she said grinning.

"We have have an extremely hated brother/sister relationship. You should see us when we get going." She stated with a sharp, bark-like laugh.
"That Redneck can be a jerk, much worse than Miles sometimes." Charlotte mumbled, folding her arms over her chest again. She let out a sigh and brushed hair from her face.

Leah nodded her head in understanding. "Very volatile then, hope if I ever get to bump into Miles again that he and I might have more of a better reaction to each other" she said with a little blush and a gentle laugh.
That Redneck can be a jerk, much worse than Miles sometimes..."I can definitely relate to that and I agree with you even if I do like Sawyer" she drifted back to that night last week when he had been kicking her door and cussing when he thought his stupid room card wasn't working for him, not realising he was trying her room door instead of his own. Yeah Sawyer could be a jerk, he was damn sarcastic the next morning too.
[ooc: don't worry - you can reply to it another time, or wind it up if you like. I don't mind either way. I prolly shouldn't even be still awake. It's after 1.30 am here where I live]

"I hope so too. Maybe you can teach him not to shoot his mouth off when he should keep it closed." Charlotte stated, chuckling softly.
"You actually like that idiot? How can you?" She asked, slightly surprised. "He's annoying with those stupid little nicknames and sayings he comes up with." She muttered. "At least the guy I like has a brain." She added with another laugh.
"Though, if you like him, it's your own opinion." Charlotte smiled. "Maybe you can get him away from Austin long enough to actually speak with him."

"Well I could certainly give it a try for you, but I'm not promising anything, chances are he'll end up being a jerk to me too" she laughed. Realising that she had finished her coffee ages ago, she beckoned to the waitress to bring her another. Although she would have to probably be thinking of heading back to the hotel sometime soon.
"Yeah, I don't really know why, but I do quite like Sawyer, I know he has his silly nicknames for people, but that's what makes him Sawyer, in a lot of ways it's kinda cute, I just don't like when he gets too vocal for no reason" she said with a small smile.
She just laughed when Charlotte spoke of it being her opinion, as she had said earlier, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, if nobody questioned anybodies opinions life could be a lot easier. "Well I doubt I'll ever get him away from Kate. We did have one incident, when he was drunk last week and tried to get into my room with his room card thinking it was his own" she said laughing.

"I don't know. He has a thing for blondes." She murmured, remembering what he had said about her sister. "But I don't know. Miles is....unpredictable." She finished, smirking.
"Well, all you have to worry about is keeping him away from other girls, mainly whats-her-face. That Kate or whatever her name is." Charlotte stated, looking at Leandra. "I think she's still in jail, but I dunno."
She laughed when Leandra mentioned the incident.
"Sounds like typical Sawyer."

"Oh well, maybe Miles and I will get along just fine, and I can do unpredictable, I can be a bit that way myself from time to time" she said with a little laugh.
Leah laughed when Charlotte spoke of getting her to keep Sawyer away from girls, and Kate. "I don't fancy my chances much to be honest with you, he's pretty hung up on Kate, I can just be a friend of sorts, anyways I think I have my eyes set on someone else at the moment" she giggled and then blushed. It didn't matter if it was only a one night stand, just feeling wanted at all however long it lasted, was cool enough for Leandra.
"Definitely typical Sawyer, and he was too drunk to listen to me when I said it wasn't his room, so I gave up"

Charlotte raised an eyebrow.
"So, would this new crush of yours be Miles? Or is it someone different?" Charlotte questioned, pulling money out of her pocket to pay for the coffee.
"But yeah, Kate is pretty hard to get rid of. Trust me, I understand from experience. She held a gun to my forehead back at the Island for several reasons, and I could never get rid of her." She muttered, smirking again.

[ooc: not that I haven't enjoyed the thread with you, but yeah maybe we should wrap it up in the next few posts - we'll deffo do another though if you want in the next time jump]
Leah wasn't sure how to reply to Charlotte's question about Miles, she knew if she lied, her face would likely give her away, but if she told the truth she had a feeling Charlotte would probably laugh and maybe even warn her off him. "Hmm...no, yes, maybe" she replied with a slight laugh and a glowing hot face, "I don't know, I just miss having the attention from a male friend" she tried to explain with a small smile.
"I remember hearing people talk about how difficult Kate is to get rid of, but I can't really say anything bad against her. Like Jack, she was always nice enough to me on the Island" she said smiling, "Anyway, Sawyer and Kate are more suited than Sawyer and me" she continued with a shrug.
