"Thanks Char" Leah said smiling, she meant it to. "I just got a little panicked when he just stopped talking to me, but I guess it would bruise the ego having a blond bimbo kick you out of her room" she laughed then. She didn't see herself as a blond bimbo, but she had a feeling he did.
Leah thought about it, and she was glad she had decided to stay herself, it meant spending some more time with Charlotte and that couldn't be a bad thing. "Thanks, I'm not sure Miles will like the intrusion in your conversation, but I ain't about to ignore you because of him" she said smiling defiantly and giggling.
Leah looked in the mirror, fixed up her hair and touched up her make-up. "Yes I'm ready" she said as she made her way out of the door to follow Charlotte back to where they had been sitting with Moron Miles. She giggled at her own name for him.

Miles snorted as the girls left. He didn't need them. He was having a perfectly good time sizing up the other patrons in this joint. He looked at his watch again. No name was probably telling Charlotte about what he'd said and frankly Miles didn't care. They could have their little girl time. He'd sit back and wondered why he didn't just go and hang out with the guys from the precinct again. Damned island. That's what got him here... around these people.
He saw them coming back and scowled. He ordered up the White Russian for Charlotte and indicated to it when she came near, wordlessly. He didn't know what he'd say about what happened the other day. Depends if they pressured him to talk about it. The whole thing was meaningless anyhow.

Charlotte sat back down and grabbed the White Russian, taking a drink of it. She turned to Miles, resting her chin in her hand.
"I shouldn't have come you know." She spoke, blinking at him with pale blue eyes. "I've decided I'm not going to the island, even if you find a way." She said.
Charlotte knew she was lying to herself. If he found a way, she would be completly shocked, because he had managed to either find Linus or Widmore. But she knew she couldn't stay away forever.

Leandra sat back down and finished her third drink and asked the bar tender for another. She knew what Charlotte had said about drinking less, but she really hadn't had that many, so another one wouldn't do any harm. Besides sitting so near to Miles, the guy she had sex with the other day and who didn't even know her name, she needed some Dutch courage.
Leah didn't know what to do or say. She really didn't want to intrude in Charlotte's conversation with Miles, even though Charlotte said she could, she didn't want to upset Miles any more. But she wasn't about to sit there and be a lemon.
"So you meant it when you said the other day you wouldn't go back?" she asked Charlotte with a smile. Although she wondered deep down if it's what Charlotte really wanted. She had this feeling that if they could find a way back, she would really want to go.

Decided you're not... Miles processed this. "What are you afraid of ending up a headcase like Dan or something? We all know why you want to go back Charlotte so drop the act." He knew that she had to go to the island. He knew that she wouldn't turn her back on it's mysteries no matter how much she wanted to play into Dan's fears for her.
Miles was bothered by No Name - why was she still here?
Miles got up, set his beer on the bar and paced. "So what? If all you wanted was some kudos from us to you that you finally paid us back for rescuing you, here you go. From me to you on behalf of all the freighter people... we thank you for sleeping with me." He told Leandra, finally stopping running his hand through his hair and sat back down. "Your gratitude is duly noted."

Charlotte gritted her teeth together, narrowing her eyes at him.
"I'm being serious Miles." She stated. "And I'm not afriad of ending up like a headcase......don't call him a headcase either!" She continued, watching him pace. She crossed her arms, listening to him. She wanted to hit him again. Where was that redneck when you needed him to punch someone in the nose?
"I made a promise Miles." She said quietly. "I'm not breaking it. Seriously."

Leah actually believed Charlotte even if Miles refused to. But then that seemed something Miles was quite good at, refusing to believe people. She didn't bother to get back into the conversation with Miles and Charlotte, it was pretty obvious her presence was annoying him. But why the hell should she go.
In fact when he stood up and thanked her for sleeping with him on behalf of all the freighter folk. He wasn't embarrassing her, he was just embarrassing himself. She started applauding. "Well done Miles...you really know how to put on a show" she rolled her eyes. Any more talk like that and she would give him another much needed slap. "I'm not here for the gratitude, so stop making a tit of yourself" she said and laughed. She was not going to let him get to her.

"Yes, really Miles. That was completely moronic if you ask me." Charlotte stated, folding her arms across her chest. Miles was just making an ass out of himself - which wasn't really unusal for him.
She let out a sigh. She didn't want to break her promise to Dan, but she did want to go back to the island. She felt torn between them, and it was killing her. This redhead had a very important delimma.
"Miles, you may want to shur your mouth. If she wants to punch, kick, slap, or do all of the above, I won't stop her. In fact, I'll join her."

Miles seemed to have gone off into a zone of his own, since he didn't seem to be talking to either of them at the moment. So as he continued to make an ass of himself, Leah looked at Charlotte, who had also agreed how much of a moron he had been for doing what he had done.
"It would seem our 'friend' is making an ass of himself to embarrass me into leaving Char" she said to her friend quietly with a smile, and then more loudly, "But it's not going to happen, if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen as they say" she wasn't bloody leaving. If he didn't want to be around her, he could damn well leave. God she hated guys like Miles, why did she keep feeling attracted to him for? She kept shaking her head. It had to be a dream, no, nightmare, she'll wake up from it any second now. She nipped herself, ouch she thought, nope not a dream or nightmare.
Looking back at Charlotte, Leah smiled and said "So I take it this is the way he always acts then?"

"Join her?" Miles said to Charlotte, still annoyed and not getting any better since they were talking about beating him. If it weren't these two girls it might have been hot... but these two girls together were nothing but trouble. "Be my guest" He offered in regards to hurting him, held his arms out to them for a few seconds and then took his seat and his beer again.
"Didn't think so" he said, when no reaction came. He took another big drink and ordered another beer.
'Can't stand to heat?' Miles smirked, he tried to cover his annoyance by being obnoxious. He wished that he just had Charlotte here so he could annoy her about Dan or something instead of being ganged up on.
"Look, we've been though this before..." Miles snapped at Leandra. "Just what do you want?" If Charlotte wasn't there, he probably would have grabbed No Name, took her outside and got out all his frustrations with her in a dark corner in some ally somewhere. She was making him more frustrated than ever now. He just wanted something to take it out on. "On second thought, just tell somebody who cares." Miles commented to her and turned his back on her.
Miles went right back to ignoring Leandra, any answer she had to that question by now obviously wasn't worth hearing. He clamped Charlotte on the shoulder and stared her down. "Please, just please don't tell me the reason that you're staying is to change more of Dan's adult diapers."

"Miles, stop making an idiot of yourself. She was right to slap you to get you to leave." Charlotte stated, shoving his hand off her shoulder with an irratated look.
"And no, I'm not going back because of that. I'm not going because I promised I wouldn't. I'm not going to break it Miles." She said quietly, taking another drink.
"Though I'm not saying I'll stay away forever, it's just I won't go back right now."

Leah had to admit, Miles was a prize ass jerk. Yes she had truly been warned by Charlotte and she hadn't taken notice of the warning, instead wishing and thinking she could win him over somehow.
Once again he asked her what it was she wanted, before telling her not to bother replying and turned his back on her again. Leah was getting pissed off with him. Even though he had told her not to bother replying, she had to. "Do you know what I want Miles? What I really want? Right now, at this moment? For you to grow up and stop being a fucking jerk. That's what I want" and then she swallowed the remainder of her drink and turned her attention elsewhere.
She watched as he was being a jerk to Charlotte too. He really was a complete idiot. What am I seeing in him anyway she thought to herself.
"And stop hassling Charlotte, if she doesn't want to go back, she doesn't want to go back" she said to him in her normal voice. She decided that losing her temper with Miles wasn't really going to make a blind bit of difference.

She was right to slap you to get you to leave.
Miles let out a low chuckle at this. How wrong Charlotte got it. Oh, he was leaving alright. Right now it was going to be him or no name because he couldn't stand being second guessed by two stupid women when he was trying to talk about something important. And getting back to the island for him was important. He just needed someone on his side and right now this blond chick was not helping matters.
When Leandra had her outburst, Miles put on a fake smile, grabbed her arm and told Charlotte, "excuse us" where he pulled her over to a corner in the bar.
He looked no name Leandra right in the eye.
"Let me spell this out for you. I don't care if Charlotte dies. I've never cared if Frank dies. I think the idea of Dan's head exploding is pretty damn funny. So if that's how I feel about my "buddies" from the freighter... what makes you in your demented little mind think I would ever give a damn about you?" He gave another sickeningly sweet fake smile, "No offence" he added, but clearly not quite meaning it.

Leah watched in horror as Miles just about ignored Charlotte and came toward her and grabbed her by the arm and took her aside away from Charlotte. The one thing she noticed was his immense anger. She didn't smile, or laugh or even look annoyed, in fact if there was any look on her face at all, she'd say it was one of fear. But she wasn't wanting to come across as if she was scared of Miles.
Once he had finished his little outburst at her, she just applauded again. "Well done Miles" she began, "You always know how to put on a good show" she continued anger growing within her. It didn't matter if getting angry didn't work with him, she sure as hell wasn't going to let him get away with grabbing her like that.
"Well I sure as hell care if Charlotte dies or not" she screamed, hopefully loud enough for Charlotte to hear. How dare he say such things. "And as for Frank and Dan, how you can you be so fucking mean about your own team members?" she exploded. "But you know what Miles? I don't give a fuck what you think about me" she spat. "Really I don't, but don't you ever fucking grab me like that again" she screamed at him as she slapped him so hard her hand stung again. But this time it felt good, it felt better to slap him this time than it did the last time.
"So don't ever talk to me like that or treat me like that ever again, do you hear?" and then she pushed him away from her and watched as he stumbled, hopefully into the table behind him. It would serve him right. Then she walked back over to Charlotte.
"I'm sorry Char, I can't stay with such a nasty bastard, if you didn't hear what I was shouting at him, it's probably just as well, I can't believe he could be so nasty to his friends. So I don't want to know how nasty he could be to someone who wasn't a friend" she rambled. Then picked up her bag and made to leave. "I'll see you around Char, sorry again I've spoiled your evening, I should have left the minute I saw him there"

Miles stood there, he would have grabbed her hand and twisted it, but she was too fast for him. He smirked as she stormed over to Charlotte. What he had said had obviously struck a nerve, but he was just speaking the truth.
He rubbed his face. He was sick of being treated like that. If she thought she could just waltz in and slap him again without there being consequences she was wrong. The woman had serious issues, she was highly volitile and she had a mouth on her that Miles just wished would keep shut.
As Leandra went for the door Miles contemplated going after her. But then he looked over at Charlotte. Surely if he followed her, even to threaten her, it was going to look to Charlotte like Miles was a big, ol' softie. So he ignored the urge, sat at the bar where he did previously and ordered one of Charlotte's chick drinks.
