Leah just let Miles do his rant before saying anything. He was obviously under the impression that she wanted him again, just because she had kissed him. Well yeah she'd kissed him, but she wanted to know how badly he wanted to know about her paranormal activity, it had nothing to do with actually kissing him, nothing at all.
"Okay now you're finished" Leandra shouted abruptly, "My turn" she continued, "First of all, I had absolutely no intention of sleeping with you again, I just wanted to see how badly you wanted to know about my paranormal activity" she started, "Secondly, there is no "us" I know that, and I also know there never will be. I disrespected myself sleeping with you twice before and I'm so not going to disrespect myself again" she finished, and looked away from him.
Yes she still liked him, sort of, but unless he started treating her with respect which she doubted she would get because she had been too quick to jump into bed with him in the first place, then she sure as well wasn't going to give herself to him again. She was better than that, and it was time she started believing in it.
Now he decided to get back to the ghosts she thought, as she sighed at the way he spoke to her again. He couldn't even be civilized when it came to the supernatural. "Don't get shitty with me Miles" she said with annoyance.
"I seen them die, I know they're dead or at least meant to be dead and I'm telling you, its bloody freaking me out" she snapped at him.

"You're going to have to be a bit more specific than that" Miles snapped back at her, "because 'supposed to be dead' really doesn't tell me anything."
He hated the way this woman could annoy him in less than a few minutes. She was getting close to being one of the most annoying people he knew. She kisses him and then tells him she had no intention of sleeping with him? Last night she did the same thing, wanting him one moment and then calling it off the next. What was her deal? He hated her with a spiteful, poisonous type of anger, that made him want to hurt her but not be able to resist her at the same time.
He got up from the bed in frustration and walked over to her, grabbing her by the upper arm hard and picking her up from the seat, fastening his lips back unto hers and narrowing his eyes. When he broke away roughly he rubbed his face for a second. "You know I want someone else, right?" He told her before kissing her again. Stupid woman. So much for stopping this dangerous cycle.

"For Christs sake Miles, how more specific can I get? They died, I watched them die. Boone was killed when he climbed up to an old plane wreck and it fell on him and crushed him. Charlie died when he went to the underwater station to allow our message to get out, Charlie sacrificed himself to save us" she screamed at him. Her head was so sore now, she wanted to tear her hair out of her head, and bang her head against the wall.
Not that banging her head would help the pain she had in her head right at this moment. The next thing she knew he had grabbed her arm and pulled her off the chair and kissed her. She pulled away from him when he started kissing her the second time. "I told you I had no intention of sleeping with you, so I don't care who the other person is, go to them, because you aren't getting anything from me anymore, not like that anyway" she snapped. She wasn't even upset, she was just bloody angry at him and the whole situation of today. "I'm not feeling good, today has shook me up something bad Miles" she said a little more softly this time, as she sat down on her seat again.

Miles sighed as she pushed away from him and sat back down, as he sat on the edge of the bed closest to her. "That would usually happen if you see ghosts" Miles said quietly, still recoiling from the second rejection. "Except the problem is that people don't usually see them. All part of being bodiless."
He reached out and touched her knee lightly, placing his hand there and letting it linger. "Look, I believe you, alright? And I'm interested to find out what's going on... I really am." He sighed and took his hand back, running it through his hair for a split second. "But I need more information. I need to know if there was anything unusual about these people. I need to know if their deaths were actually confirmed and if there's any way they could have just been faking and got on the freighter before we left. I need to know what they think about their supposed deaths and why it was that they don't remember." He gave her an earnest look, she had broken him down enough for the moment to hear her out.

She sighed roughly, keeping her hands on her head, "Don't you think I don't know that" she began weakly, "I mean they weren't exactly ghosts, they were very much alive" she tried to explain again, she knew this wasn't going to be making any sense to him, but she was only telling him what she knew.
She looked down at him with disdain when he touched her knee with his hand, she wasn't going to do this with him again, she just wasn't. However as she was about to tell him to stop it, he'd already removed his hand.
She pulled at her hair again as he threw a tirade of questions at her to answer. She didn't even know where to begin. The whole thing had upset her and now here he was wanting to know certain information? What information did he need to know other than she saw them bloody die. She sighed again.
"No there was nothing unusual about them, they were just normal people, alright Charlie did have a drug habit when he landed, but he got over that" she began, and thought some more before answering the rest of his questions. "Boone definitely wasn't faking his death Miles, there is no way he faked it, we even buried him" she said slowly, "Charlie wasn't quite confirmed I admit, he never re-surfaced and we assumed he drowned" that much was true. So maybe Charlie was still alive, but that didn't answer why he didn't know her or remember the Island.
"They just scoffed when I told them what had happened, they just assume I'm some mad woman who was probably high on some fix, as far as they're concerned they were never on Flight 815" she finished explaining, hoping that was enough information for him, "But Miles I swear to god they were on that bloody flight. They don't know me, remember me or the time they spent on the Island"
Leandra was physically exhausted now, after everything that happened today and telling him all this information, she just wanted to lie on the bed and rest up, but she wasn't going anywhere near the bed when Miles was there, instead she leaned back in the chair and closed her eyes, and rubbed at her temples again.

Miles stared straight ahead when she was talking, focusing on the wall and taking it all in, when she was done he shot his gaze back to her. "I believe you, but we're going to need to get some more confirmation. Is there anyone from the island that can back up your stories about these people?" He put his hands out in case she got angry with him again.
He watched silently as she leaned back and rubbed her temples, with the day he had he wanted to do exactly the same thing. "Look... no... you." he started, not bringing himself to say her name again, "I'm trying to help you out here. You need other witnesses to be able to verify how dead these guys are really supposed to be. And if they weren't on the flight when you and others think that they should have been, then we need to know what they were doing."

Well that was a relief, he believed her. Even if he was about to call her no name again, she wasn't too ill she hadn't picked up on that, but she didn't have the energy to start screaming at him again. She had a horrible day, and she just wanted it to disappear. Yeah there were people who could back up her story, but she sure as hell wasn't going to any of them, they'd think she was bloody crazy saying she'd seen dead people.
"Yeah there are others who could verify my story about them being on Flight 815, but come on Miles, if they thought I was crazy, what makes you think that the other survivors wont?" she snapped, her head feeling like it was about to bounce off her shoulders and roll about the floor.
"If I thought I could have spoken to Jack about it, don't you think I would have?" she continued, "I can't approach any of them for fear of them locking me up" she replied still stunned over the whole situation, and besides anything else, she'd gone to Miles about it all, why had she done that? When she was trying to stop being used by him.

"I'm not telling you to go to one party and then another party and see them all stare at you like a crazy person" Miles almost snapped at her. It was just plain common sense. "I'm telling you to create a big family reunion between these alleged ghosts and a few other survivors that know they're dead. That way, nobody thinks your crazy and the vast majority of people might be able to convince these dead people that there really is something wrong."
He sighed. "What is this? The official L.A haunting day?" He scowled, "because I didn't get the memo." He got back to where he was earlier, with his back against the headboard of her bed. With the amount of ghost tales going on today, there had better be a good explanation for it.

"Alright, alright Miles" she began her temper fraying badly, yeah getting Miles involved was definitely a bad move. Way to go Leah, the easiest way to get over a guy, invite them to help you with a few ghostly matters.
"I'm hardly in a position to have a reunion, how do I do it without either side guessing what's going on anyway eh?" she asked in wonderment. She could just see it now. Hey Sawyer, Jack, Sayid fancy coming along to the Stone Pony for a few drinks. They'd wonder why the hell she was inviting them out, when they were hardly bosom buddies. Well Jack maybe, but as much as she loved Sawyer, she knew he didn't feel the same way, and hardly noticed she existed, Sayid was nice enough however, but whether she could get all three of them along with Boone and Charlie in one place, she wasn't convinced.
"I suppose I could organise some sort of get together at Stone Pony, but how do I get Boone and Charlie to come along, when they hardly even know me?" she replied sadly, "And Jack might come, Sayid too hopefully, but Sawyer, I don't think he even knows I exist never mind him agreeing to come for a few drinks with me" she tried to ramble on.
She knew he was only saying what he was saying to try and help her get her head around the situation, but it seriously wasn't helping her. "What do you mean? I'm I not the only one?" she questioned, wondering who else had seen a 'ghost' today.

"Yeah, you're not the only one..." he answered her. "I've been hunting down the ghost boyfriend of an ex-cop who is seriously quite a jerk for someone that is supposed to be dead."
He sighed again, hardly believing that he dared to be doing this. "Leandra. Let's both organize this thing, OK? So then you get your answers and I get to talk to some of the 815er's again. I needed to talk to you about this anyway." He reached out and grabbed her hand this time, holding it tightly. "We need to get everyone to go back to the island." He said seriously, trying to make it sound like they were a team. Heck, he'd go along with the charade of dating her if everyone would go back to the island. It was a small price to pay. "And I need you to do it with me." He said softly, hoping she would buy it. How could she not buy it. This was what she wanted, right?

"Ghost boyfriend?" she questioned and then thought about the ex cop bit, of course there were plenty of ex cops, but she couldn't help but wonder if it were Ana-Lucia, after all if Charlie and Boone were alive, and Shannon, because Boone said she was, then what was to say that everybody who died on the Island weren't alive.
"So the ghost boyfriend isn't an 815 survivor? But ex cop? What's her name?" she asked, she couldn't help herself, she needed to know if this was the dead Ana he was talking about. It was getting crazy and out of control. Just how many of the survivors who had died on the Island were alive she wondered.
However when he grabbed her hand and held it tightly she thought about snatching her hand away, but it would probably hurt, so she decided against it, but she did recoil at his suggestion. "What?" she snapped, "Are you crazy? Go back there? I'd never go back there if you paid me" she snapped again, this time pulling her hand away whether it hurt or not, which it did, she rubbed her hand afterward. "I am not going back there, I dare say there aren't many who would" she continued.
What difference did it make? Maybe she had imagined seeing Charlie and Boone, maybe they were different people. One thing for sure, she wasn't stepping foot back onto that Island, not now, not ever. "I'm not going back there and you can't make me" she stammered, "I'm sorry Miles, but I'm not the right person, and you don't need me, you don't even love me" she responded with disdain.

Miles almost rolled his eyes as she jolted away. She was on that again? What did she expect from him? Whatever it was, Miles was sure he didn't have it. "Cortez and Avery" Miles said his name with as much disdain as he could muster. "I'm sure if you have a newspaper lying around there should be something about it. Apparently he was connected to Oceanic."
He was growning more annoyed at how against going back to the island she was. "Look we need to get back there..." he shrugged though, trying some reverse physcology. "Unless you really feel like you belong here..."

She knew it, she knew it would be her. She blanched when he said the name. Ex cop, Cortez? So she was alive too was she? She didn't know whether to tell him or not. Then thought she had nothing to lose, so she may as well, still feeling a bit sick and white she turned to face him. "Eh Miles, Cortez? Wouldn't be Ana-Lucia Cortez would it? Because if it is" she began struggling to keep her composure, "She was on the Island and died too" she finished.
She got up and started pacing around the room for a short while, what the hell was happening? Why were all these dead people alive now? What could it mean? She didn't know, but she knew she didn't like it. "I don't want to go back to that bloody Island Miles, it's dangerous, nobody wants to go back, don't you understand that?" she said sadly, "I can't go back, I wont ever go back there, I'm sorry Miles, and why wouldn't I feel at home here anyway? My father lives here" she pressed giving her argument and reason for staying in Los Angeles.

Miles felt like something snapped into place like a puzzle piece when Leandra mentioned Ana-Lucia Cortez from the island. He shook his head and let out a laugh. A low laugh, one full of a bitter type of irony. He couldn't control it. He just kept laughing. In some sick, twisted way this was hilariously funny. He actually half liked someone that the island had killed?
There were a lot of strange things happening with the island, but this one really took the cake. When he eventually contained himself, he only had to look at Leandra before starting up laughing again. "I'd ask if you were kidding me" he said through laughter, "but I doubt even you could be that funny." All his chuckles subsided and he rubbed his eyes, "So Cortez junior really is dead?" Part of him wasn't surprised that he was right. The other part of him was wondering what kind of snappy retort she would have when he ultimately told her. "Now I think we have plenty of reasons to get back to that island."

Looking at the way Miles reacted to her telling him Ana-Lucia was another one of the dead alive people, she went from being white to actually hysterically laughing herself a little. She had to admit it was getting peculiar and if you didn't laugh you'd probably cry, at least that's how Leandra saw it.
But she was till annoyed when he spoke yet again of going back to the Island. Didn't he get it? She would not go back there. End of story. (Besides there's no Island no this site lol)
"No I'm not kidding you Miles, but knock my humour, you don't know how funny I can actually be, and no damnit, I'm not going back to the Island, end of story Miles" she said her tone getting more angry. The more he asked her to back, the more she would be determined not to do it.
